I’m a curious observer who loves exploring the world around me, often drifting into imagination. My art is frequently inspired by things I deeply connect with – everyday objects and experiences that bring me joy. Here’s a peek at some of my favorite things that often find their way into my creative process:
Bridge to Art: Claude Monet
Standing before Monet’s Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies’ at the MET, my young self discovered something beyond simple admiration. The painting spoke in a language that transcended the usual ‘I like it’ – it whispered secrets through each brushstroke.
That bridge, painted with Monet’s masterful hand, became my own bridge into the art world. Just as water lilies float on the pond’s surface, I floated between different perspectives, discovering new layers of beauty.
Little did I know then that this moment would transform me from a casual observer into an passionate art explorer. Now, as Monica inspired by Monet, I continue my journey through Museums worldwide, each visit adding another brushstroke to my understanding of art.
Just as Monet’s bridge guided visitors through his garden, ‘Bridge to Art’ guides my ongoing artistic journey.
Human Puzzle: My Friends
Friends are far more than just companions who share moments in time. They are essential pieces of life’s intricate puzzle, each one filling a unique space in my story with laughter, tears, and everything in between.
Through our shared experiences, we grow together like intertwined trees, our roots deepening with every moment of joy and challenge we face. Each one is an irreplaceable piece of my life’s puzzle – their unique perspectives and insights creating something more beautiful and meaningful than I could achieve alone.
In this human puzzle of mine, every piece holds its own magic, and not a single one can be missing.
Visual Dream: Comics and Animation
Comics and animation serve as my vital source of inspiration. They create a unique bridge between literature and art pieces, where imagination knows no bounds and stories come alive through visual narratives.
Like a delicate dance, these works require perfect harmony between storytelling and visuals – if either falters, the magic disappears. I’m particularly drawn to traditional 2D animation, where every frame is a carefully crafted artwork. The way artists control timing and movement demands the same depth of insight and concentration as studying a masterpiece in a museum. Each frame requires artistic intuition, visual sensitivity, and meticulous attention to detail.
In this realm where the impossible becomes visible and stories transcend reality, animation truly becomes my visual dream. Inspired by this transformative power of animation, I created a short video piece that revealed how I find inspiration in my daily life. In this work “The Wonder Within“, I used an animated amoeba character as a playful metaphor for creativity, following it as it explored and interacted with scenes from my everyday surroundings. Through this symbolic character, I shared my personal journey of discovering inspiration in ordinary moments.
